Flat Head Self-drilling Screw with Wings help you secure wood to metal without pre-drilling. The steel screw is ideal for use with metal of a thick gauge. Special wings ream a hole in the wood to prevent thread engagement during drilling. No pre-drilling required. Wings prevent jacking action. Wings above drill point provide clearance hole in work piece so it won’t climb up the shank; wings break off as point engages the steel substrate.
